Overview

An AustCycle Provider is a person or organisation licensed to run an AustCycle cycling training business. Some Providers might also be referred to as Cycling Schools. The benefits of being an AustCycle Provider are numerous. We welcome enquiries from interested people who share our passion and love of cycling.

The AustCycle recipe for successful Providers is based on eight “P’s”:

  • Partnerships and sponsorships
  


Providers are supported through referrals, marketing activity, provision of insurance, marketing materials (including a web site), Teacher accreditation and quality review, advocacy, as well as connection to a wide network of Teachers for information sharing and skill development.

Licensing

AustCycle Providers must meet the following AustCycle licence criteria:


  • Agree to the AustCycle Code of Behaviour
  • Comply with AustCycle’s occupational health and safety policies and legal requirements of the State or Territory where they operate
  • Ensure Teachers are qualified, have relevant police checks and hold current first aid qualifications

  • A business manual, which includes useful information on running a cycling training business.
  • Training manuals, which including lesson plans and other helpful tips on training delivery
  • Training seminars
  • On-going professional development
