The 2-day NCAS Level 1 AustCycle Teacher Accreditation Program costs $495 (inc GST). Depending on where you are based there may be additional transport and/or accommodation costs. Teachers pay an annual $55 (inc GST) registration fee, or $33 (inc GST) if they are a registered Cycling Australia Coach. On completion of the course AustCycle Teachers will receive an AustCycle Teacher Accreditation Card, a Teacher Manual and Teacher Activity Book containing sample session plans.
AustCycle Providers pay a one-off registration fee of $990 (inc GST). On top of this there is a monthly license fee of $99 (inc GST) for the first Teacher employed and an additional $22 (inc GST) for each additional Teacher. This cost covers public liability, professional indemnity and accident insurance cover. Providers receive a Provider Pack on registration which includes tips on how to market their business and a comprehensive range of marketing collateral including flyers, posters, forms and templates to assist them in their marketing, registration and evaluation efforts.
