Spring has officially hit Sydney and Narrabeen residents are invited to bring their bikes and helmets down to Narrabeen North Public School on Sunday, 27 October to participate in AustCycle skills classes.
Cycling is a fantastic cardiovascular activity that helps you get fit, save money and have fun. It is also the perfect activity for the whole family to participate in.
Run by accredited AustCycle Teacher Lisa McHarg, the courses will teach participants to brake safely in different conditions, accurately control the speed of their bike, and effectively balance and corner.
The cycling proficiency course is aimed at adults and is perfect for anyone who is feeling a bit rusty on the skills required to ride a bike.
There is also a cycling skills course for children scheduled in November, which will provide kids with the confidence to ride on the road or on a shared path.
AustCycle aims to provide high quality cycle education and training to every member of the Australian community regardless of background, age and skill level in order to improve public health, support the environment and reduce traffic congestion.
For more information or to register for the rides contact Lisa on 0414 517 756 or firstname.lastname@example.org. Visit Sydney Bike Skills website here to learn more about the courses available and for more information on AustCycle visit www.austcycle.com.au.
