AustCycle course helps young adults with a disability gain independence

Twenty-two young adults with a disability have just completed a bike safety and handling skills course through AustCycle Provider Cycling Victoria.

The free cycling program was held in Seddon and was funded by the Australian government’s Healthy Communities Initiative.

Accredited AustCycle Teacher John Wyatt and Breeze Leader Sonya Everad ran the 6-week courses and reported a significant increase in the skills and abilities of the group, with many participants expressing the desire to ride regularly.
